School Supplies Needed

Computer classes: We are reaching out to the community to see if anyone has any older but working computers, laptops, or iPad that they may have an interest in donating to the students. Computers can be any working operating systems, laptops are preferred but desktops will be accepted as well.

We need to be able to teach basic computer and typing skills so the technology doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest to get the job done.

We will also post the information regarding the type of ink and toner and paper that we will need to produce the Pine Times newsletter.

Sewing Classes: When we start our sewing classes we will need spools of thread, sewing machine and hand sewing needles, buttons, zippers, elastic, straight pens, fabric scissors and any other notions that would be handy. We will also need fabric, 100% cotton fabric would be best in any yardage or fat-quarters, preferably solid light colors but prints would be welcome as well.

Cotton or polyester batting for our blanket projects would be helpful as well. We are also going to be learning hand embroidery and crochet so embroidery thread, yarn and crochet hooks would be handy.

Crafting Classes: We can always use craft supplies for the little kids and the big kids. Craft paint and brushes, markers, glue, hot glue, felt, wood scraps, gems, anything that would keep little hands happy and busy!
